Clatsop County Board of Commissioners Chair Mark Kujala has been appointed to the Oregon Infrastructure Finance Authority (IFA) by Governor Tina Kotek. The IFA provides financial support for projects such as water systems, wastewater facilities, and transportation improvements that help strengthen local economies and public health across Oregon.

“I’m honored to be appointed to the IFA,” Kujala said. “Strong infrastructure is essential to thriving communities, especially in rural and coastal areas like Clatsop County and I look forward to supporting investments that will benefit Oregonians statewide.”

Kujala has led efforts in economic development, housing, transportation, and environmental resilience during his time as Chair of the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners. His appointment highlights the value of local input in shaping infrastructure policy at the state level.

Kujala’s term on the IFA begins March 1, 2026, and continues through February 28, 2030. More information about the Oregon Infrastructure Finance Authority can be found on the Oregon Business Development Department website.
