Cost of college went up for all students at Tillamook Bay Community College

In-state tuition and fees rose 0.9 percent for 2018-19 at Tillamook Bay Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oregon residents paid $3,888 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $36 more than the $3,852 charged for 2017-18.

Non-resident students would have paid 18.5 percent more than residents this year, or $4,608. Non-resident tuition and fees grew 0.8 percent from $4,572 in 2017-18.

100 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Oregon residents.

Data shows 86 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 61 students received grants or scholarships totaling $327,570 and 7 students took out student loans totaling more than $24,992.

Including all undergraduates (445), 196 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 50 students took out $182,413 in federal student loans.
