Join us on April 23, 2022 for the Scappoose Parks and Recreation Committee Earth Day Celebration!

Scappoose is the gateway to nature and outdoor adventure for Columbia County. This Earth Day we are celebrating our beautiful parks and outdoor spaces. The City is hosting a number of activities that promote our community’s connection to nature, including:

Parks Scavenger Hunt and Google Picture Uploads

April 18-23

Follow a series of clues will help you explore the fun and features of all 7 of the city’s beautiful parks. Complete the scavenger hunt and be entered in a drawing to win a number of prizes. 

Be sure to take photos of your adventures as the parks and load them to Google. There will also be a prize awarded to the person that uploads the most pictures of our parks.

Download your Scavenger Hunt Clues below! Once you’ve completed the Scavenger Hunt, submit your completed form to ibutman@cityofscappoose.org no later than 5 pm on April 23rd.

9 AM – 1 PM Heritage Park: Crafts, Vendors, Sponsor Booths, Snacks!

9 AM - 11 AM Litter Pick Up at Chapman Landing/CZ Trail; Sponsored by Boy Scout Troop #295

11 AM Walking tour South Scappoose Creek Watershed, beginning at Heritage Park; Sponsored by the Scappoose Bay Watershed Council
