At last night's Astoria School District Board Meeting, Astoria Mayor Sean Fitzpatrick presented the school board with a proclamation declaring January as School Board Recognition Month.
Mayor Fitzpatrick encouraged all citizens to join him in recognizing local board members' dedication and hard work in preparing today's students for tomorrow's world.
