The calendar was updated on January 11, 2023 changing Monday, May 15 from a possible weather make up day to a regular school day.

The board of Directors approved the original 2022-2023 academic calendar at the school board meeting on March 9, 2022. The calendar for elementary-level (K-5) students will be slightly different from the calendar for secondary-level (6-12) students for this coming school year. The two calendars are joined into one for convenience, and the differences are highlighted.  A copy of the approved academic calendar is below:

Items of interest for the 2022-2023 calendar which are identical on both calendars: 

• Every Thursday is designated as an early release day, beginning September 15, 2022
•  Fall parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for November 9 and 10. Evening conferences will take place on November 9, 2022
•  Spring Break is scheduled from March 27 through March 31, 2023
•  Spring parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for April 13 and 14. Evening conferences will take place on April 13, 2023
•  The last day of school for students is Thursday, June 15, 2023
•  June 16, 2023 – June 21, 2023, are reserved for possible Weather Make-Up Days

The differences between the calendars, including the first day of school, return from Winter Break, and January teacher workdays, are outlined below: 

Elementary (KG-5) Calendar

• Elementary-level parent-teacher conferences  are September 6 and 7, 2022
•  Elementary students begin school on September 8, 2022
•  Elementary students return to school from Winter Break on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 (12/19/22-1/3/2023)
•  Elementary students have one day off at the end of semester 1 - January 30, 2023

    Secondary (6-12) Calendar

• Secondary-level Student Orientation - September 6, 2022 
• Secondary students begin school on September 7, 2022
• Secondary students will return to school from Winter Break on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 (12/19/22 - 1/2/2023)
• Secondary students have two days off at the end of semester 1 - January 30-31, 2023
