Treacherous Road Conditions. Please Stay Home.
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has reported treacherous conditions in Clatsop County this morning. Icy conditions exist on 101, 101B, 104 and 105.
There is packed snow on Highways 30, 26, 202, 103 and 53.
Astoria-Megler Bridge has reopened, however the de-icing truck has a flat tire on the bridge. Traffic can still get by.
Sanders are out trying to keep up but the sand gets covered pretty quickly when it’s snowing.
TripCheck appears to be experiencing outages because of demand.
Clatsop County Emergency Management Director Justin Gibbs said, “Please stay off roadways today. There are limited resources to address the dangerous road conditions and conditions will only slowly improve throughout the day.”
