Thank you, Mayor Fitzpatrick and City Council of Astoria for proclaiming February as Career and Technical Education Month. As stated in the Proclamation “Career and technical education at community colleges will prepare Oregonians to secure family wage jobs in the state’s industries and workforce and ensure that employers have access to a qualified and thriving workforce, ensuring Oregon has a strong and competitive economy.”
Dean of Workforce Education and Training Kristen Wilkin was present at the meeting last night to accept the Proclamation.
