Western Oregon Wolves, featuring former Scappoose High School standout Abby Stansbury, earned a 6-4 win against the Western Washington Vikings in NCAA Division II softball Friday, March 13, at 12 p.m.
The match was held at Viking Field and marked the teams’ initial contest of the season.
Stansbury pitched seven innings, giving up four earned runs with four walks and one strikeout.
The Wolves are set to face the Vikings again at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Viking Field.
