There was one gas station in cities across Columbia County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $4.39 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 28, according to GasBuddy.com.

There are three gas stations in cities within Columbia County.

The average price of regular gas in Oregon was $4.37, compared to $4.45 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8% more for average goods and food they needed.

“Higher prices will likely last well into next year, if not longer,” experts said at the end of 2022.
